Longines British Miliary issue stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, circa 1940s, signed black dial with broad arrow, Arabic numerals, luminous markers with lume set hands and subsidiary seconds dial, cal. 12.68Z 15 jewel movement, no. 69524xx, fixed bar case, lug number 2795, the screw back with issue markings 'W.W.W F8086 /\ 230xx 43xx /\' modern black leather strap, 37.5mm - ** Part of the 'Dirty Dozen' - Condition Report: - Movement - clean and currently functioning. Dial - appearing original with nice patina as expected for the age. Glass - surface marks and scratches. Hands - appear period, but missing lume inserts and showing signs of age. Case - visible surface marks and light scratching, the back with scratch marks visible, see images. Crown - adjusting correctly.
