shaped oval and on four foliage and scroll cast feet, with foliage and scroll border and similar part-openwork overhead swing handle, the sides chased with rocaille , foliage and scrolls in high relief 35cm wide, 47oz 14dwt, 1,484gr Fully marked inside and further part marked on handle. The marks are generally clear. Further stamped '9196' underneath. There is some overall minor surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The basket rocks slightly when placed on a flat surface.
