Augustus Rex Vase mit Gelbfond und Chinoiserien
Porzellan, zitronengelber Fond, polychromer Emaildekor, Vergoldung. Balusterform mit zylindrischem Hals, späterer Haubendeckel. Zwei gold und purpur gerahmte Kartuschen um fein gemalte, vierfigurige Chinesenszenen nach Hoeroldt. Blaumarke ligiertes AR, geritzt /, Formerzeichen vier Punkte, wohl für Johann Elias Grund sen. Hals restauriert. H 22 cm, mit Deckel H 29,5 cm.

Baluster form vase with cylindrical neck and later domed lid. Decorated with finely painted chinoiserie scenes after Hoeroldt in two gilt and purple surrounds. Blue AR monogram, incised /, former's mark with four dots, probably that of Johann Elias Grund sen. The neck restored. H 22 cm, H with lid 29.5 cm.

Decorated by the studio of Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt, ca. 1725 - 30.
