AEOLIS. Myrina. Ca. mid-2nd century BC. AR tetradrachm (33mm, 16.57 gm, 1h). NGC Choice AU 5/5 - 5/5. Laureate head of Apollo right, hair falling in three long curls over shoulder / MYPINAIΩN, Apollo standing right, phiale in right hand, filleted branch in left; omphalus and amphora at feet to right, KEA monogram behind, all in laurel border. Sacks, ANS Museum Notes 30, issue 18. SNG Copenhagen 221. Firmly struck from high-relief dies on massive flan without the flatness one often finds on the peripheries of this issue.
